Tell us a bit about thebrand
Whilst the name Magnolia Lounge is a relative newcomer, since 2009, our biannual Sleepwear Ranges are the result of many years experience in design, fabric sourcing & quality production.
Nothing suggests real contentment like the combination of the most beautiful artworks, the most engaging of designs, the most sumptuous of fabrics and the most flattering silhouettes.
Who does the brand cater for?
Our targeted demographic is women aged between 30-70, however our prints and styles can cater for those whom are older and more young at heart. Our younger staff also enjoy our sleepwear commenting on the warmth and cute prints. We use strive to use commercial colours to cater for everyone’s needs.
What is the niche/point of difference for the brand?
Our main point of difference is offering great quality fabric, beautiful colours and prints at a price not to be blushed at.
Tell us a bit about this seasons collection showcased at FABEEVENT?
Our upcoming Winter Range will be mostly floral, draped in hues of pink, soft greys and splashes of navy and blue. There will be a couple of non floral prints on offer on our yarn dye flannelette and knit range.
What does the future look like for fashion/footwear? Any predictions?
We are seeing a floral outburst coming in from Europe for women’s fashion, ranging in deep rich hues of navy and raspberry, to the softer pinks and greys that everyone has known to love.
If there was any advice to give to a retailer, what would it be?
The rich deep colours for sleepwear might seem scary at first, but they are very much in vogue and, the darker the base colour the more flattering on 🙂
